Cancellation & refunds

How to cancel, when a refund applies, and what the Stripe and the better-auth infrastructure cover independently of this page.

Cancellation

How to cancel

Open /profile and the cancel flow walks you through it; or write to tollcast@polsia.appand we'll cancel on your behalf. The subscription stays active until the end of the paid-up period.

The Stripe charges that move the money are governed by Stripe — we pass them through. The day-of-pass-through covers a 99% self-service case and a 1% manual case; that's the same window the Stripe billing API exposes.

Refunds

When a refund applies

We don't routinely refund partial months. We do honor a refund when a creator was double-billed, charged for a tier they never selected, or charged after a cancellation took effect. Those refunds are issued to the same card the original charge hit; the refund is processed in the same week the request lands in.

If you cancel and request a refund within the first 7 days of your first paid cycle, we'll honor it as long as the queue is empty and no drafts have shipped — talk to us. Past day 7 of the first cycle we prorate the unused days only on request, and only for unprompted billing errors.

Disputes

What to do first

If a charge looks wrong, write to us before you log a card-issuer dispute — the dispute path costs Stripe a non-refundable fee even when it lands in your favor, and most issues are one short email away from being resolved.
